Jen was born in outback Qld and began painting in her young adulthood. She has a unique ability to see artistic potential and inspiration in the most unexpected places and turn a thought into the most breath-taking wall art. Art took a backseat while she raised five children, though she did continue painting and filling galleries when she had time, but became front and centre once her youngest started school. She is on a continuous journey of discovery and experimentation with colours, mediums, textures, materials, techniques, styles, tools and utensils, and anything she can put on a canvas. Nothing excites her more than a blank canvas.

Jen enjoys creating colourful, complex, thought-provoking artworks using a variety of mediums and textures to create depth and character. She's been featured in the Australian TV show, Colour In Your Life, and filled multiple galleries with her pieces. Each piece has it's own unique story and characteristics with multiple layers of beautifully placed colours, textures, patterns, and materials which come together to create a thought-provoking work of art.

Jen is very passionate and experiences strong emotions. Her paintings are visual representations of her emotions at different times in her life, through trials and tribulations as well as celebrations of life. Art is her safe space to face her raw, complex emotions head on and get in touch with her inner self. Jen has always strived to find light in the darkness, and this light shines through a lot of her paintings.
